Theses are cheats which have been included in the game by the developpers.
In Budokai 2, they consist to keep some buttons pushed while entering and exiting menus again and again.

Budokai 2 Cheats : Unlock everything

Budokai 2 cheats : How to unlock everything (Characters, stages and capsules). 100% unlocked.

This cheat code allows to unlock all characters, arenas, capsules and hidden game modes in Dragon Ball Z Budokai 2. It works only with the Playstation 2 version of the game but doesn't work if you play the game on the Gamecube console.
With this cheat, you will be able to unlock all characters, arenas, capsules and game modes withing 5-10 minutes.
The video explains how to do it but basically, you have to hold the L2 button pressed while entering and exiting the capsule shop and everytime you do this, you will unlock a few capsules.

Raw cheat codes for Budokai 2

Raw cheat codes for Budokai 2 work only if you play the Playstation 2 version of the game on PC with the PCSX2 emulator but most of theses codes can be converted to the Action Replay or Codebreaker formats and used on the console (but you'll need the AR and Codebreaker DVDs, thought).

Unlock all characters, arena, capsules immediately

This code for Dragonball Z Budokai 2 unlocks everything instantaneously : Characters, maps, capsules and game modes.

When this code is enabled, every characters, arenas, capsules are instantaneously unlocked after you go to the Options menu, change any parameters there and save the game.

Budokai 2 Silver lifebars codes : Give more lifebars to the characters

This cheat code for Budokai 2 changes how many lifebars the characters have.

With this code, you can set how many lifebars the Player 1 and Player 2 have.
This works for all game modes (Dragon World, Duels, Tournament and even in the Babidi's Spaceship mode).
You can even choose to give a different number of lifebars to the Player 1 and Player 2 if you want.
The minimum number of lifebars is 1 and the maximum number of lifebars is 7 (but it is possible to increase this, but above 7 lifebars, all the lifebars are silver colored.

One-Hit KO code for Budokai 2

Dabura defeats Krillin with a single hit (DBZ Budokai 2 Cheats: 1-hit Ko code).

This cheat code for B2 works like this : It reduces the player 1/player 2 lifebars to 1 life point.
So you only need to hit the opponent once (or get touched once) to win/lose the match.

Invincibility code for Budokai 2

Infinite life code for Budokai 2 (cheats).

This "no damage" code for Budokai 2 give infinite life to the player 1/player 2, basically making him invincible.

Infinite Ki, immunity to stuns & speed codes for B2

Several Cheats codes enabled at once in the game Dragonball Z Budokai 2 : Infinite ki, stuns immunity and also a Move Faster code.

- The infinite ki code for B2 not only give infinite ki to characters, it also give them a very strong aura (visually).
- The immunity to stun code (or ultimate body) makes the player 1/player 2 to recover very rapidely when they are hit by non-charged melee attacks, which allow them to escape combos.
Finally, the speed code change at which pace the player 1/player 2 move and throw melee attacks and ultimate moves. With the speed code, you can either make the characters move in slow motion or make them very very fast. Your choice.

Infinite fusions codes in Budokai 2

Infinite fusion time code for the game Dragon Ball Z Budokai 2 (Infinite Gotenks and Tiensha/Yaman).

This code for Dragonball Z Budokai 2 make the Gotenks and Yaman fusions to last until the end of the match.
Unlike in the other later games from the serie, this code does not give infinite ki to the player 1/player 2.
It just keep Songoten and Trunks and also Tienshinhan and Yamcha merged together.

Budokai 2 Widescreen fix

A widescreen cheat code for Dragon Ball Z Budokai 2 (The image is not stretched anymore on larger screens).

This widescreen code for Budokai 2 corrects the game's aspect ratio on larger screens.
But the cheat code can be parametered so it also can changes the aspect ratio on normal screens.

Characters swap codes

In Dragon Ball Z Budokai 2, it is possible to ADD unplayable characters as secondary, third or fourth outfits for the normal characters.
My codes add Babidi, Gotenks Ghost, Kibito, Cell Junior, Saibaiman, Majin Frieza and Majin Cell as playable costumes for the characters Krillin, Dabura, Cell and Frieza.

	The ghost of Gotenks can be made a playable character in Budokai 2, thanks to cheat codes. I added it as the costume 5 for Krillin.
	Majin Cell is a playable costume in the two japanese versions of Budokai 2 but he isn't available for the european and american version of the game. My character swap cheat code fixes this and adds Majin Cell as the 3rd costume for Cell in theses versions.
	Like Majin Cell, Majin Frieza wasn't a playable costume in the EU and US versions of Budokai 2. But the cheat codes add Majin Frieza as the 3rd costume for Frieza in theses two versions of the game.
	In Budokai 2, Babidi normally only applies in a cutscene where Vegeta transforms into Majin Vegeta. The codes add Babidi as the 6th costume for Krillin.
	In Budokai 2, Kibito only appears in the cutscene where Supreme Kai merge with him to become Kibitokai. The character swap codes add Kibito as the 3rd costumes for Dabura.
	In all versions of Budokai 2, Cell Junior and Saibaiman are only available as enemies. My codes add Cell Junior and Saibaiman as the 3rd and 4th costumes for Krillin.
